- We are a family run organisation originally based in Zimbabwe
- We operate volunteer projects in Southern and East Africa
- Our head office is now in Cape Town, South Africa
- We strive to facilitate our projects in a sustainable manner
- We have a diverse and colourful team of office and field staff
- In 2007 we established a registered UK charity to support our work, named The Happy Africa Foundation
- In 2009 we have been nominated as finalists in The Responsible Tourism Awards and The Imvelo Responsible Tourism Awards
