Somerset West is a charming and relaxing and is nestled in the Helderberg at the foot of the well-known Helderberg Mountain. Somerset West is 40 minutes drive from the city centre in Cape Town and a 20 minute drive from Cape Town International Airport.This town is a vibrant close-knit communtiy and still retains the historical charm of the Cape. 

Go for a walk in the Helderberg Nature Reserve and explore the indigenous mountain fynbos, or enjoy the many estates along the Helderberg Wine Route, or discover shopping at its best in Somerset Mall (one of the biggest malls in Cape Town) and Waterstone Village or enjoy the excellent restaurants around.

Bargain hunting can be enjoyed at the Country Craft Market where there is 200 stalls, or the Helderberg Veldwinkel and you will then also be given the opportunity to mix with the locals. Somerset West is near the Strand and Gordons Bay, so the beautiful beaches are also nearby to be enjoyed.
