The city of Rustenburg lies at the foot of the Magaliesberg mountain range. It is very accessible from both Johannesburg and Pretoria, being only a 1.5 hour drive from both.

Pilanesberg National Park

The fourth largest national park in South Afric, this reserve is set high in the Pilanesberg range, traversing the floor of an ancient, long-extinct volcano. The Big 5 - lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo can b viewed here. The park has well-maintained tar and gravel roads.

Sun City & the Lost City

These resorts are set on the slopes of a picturesque valley in the Pilanesberg Mountains and attempts to capture the essence of an ancient African kingdom. Casinos, the Valley of the Waves and two world-renowned championship golf courses are some of the attractions.

Royal Bafokeng Stadium

The Royal Bafokeng Stadium was one of the host stadiums of the 2010 Soccer World Cup and was used by the English national team as their base camp.
