South Coast
The South Coast is the ultimate beach holiday destination. In winter the sea is warm and the air is balmy. In summer the sun is hot and the nights are almost tropical. The effect of such perfect weather is that everything on the South Coast exists in a state of happy tranquillity.
Warner Beach
Warner Beach is a small coastal resort town south of the Little Manzimtoti River. Whales can be seen during the winter months from May and November. Dolphins can be seen throughout the year. The annual "Sardine Run" is a migration of huge schools of fish that attracts tourists and fishermen to the area.
Temperatures are mild and pleasant throughout the year and the area also remains green for much of the year. Other than suntanning, visitors to Warner Beach can go surfing, fishing and diving at the nearby Aliwal Shoal. Croc World is also close by.
