- has been operating for 17 years (since 1996)
- is dedicated to the principles of Responsible Tourism
- carries a British Standard 8848 accreditation which is a Specification for the provision of visits, fieldwork, expeditions, and adventurous activities, outside the United Kingdom. Youth programmes are in line with the DofE Award as well as the International Youth Award
- has the sole tourism concession on the 12000ha Somkhanda Game Reserve situated in Zululand where our Conservation Volunteering progamme is based
- has the sole tourism concession for Bhekula community reserve adjacent to Tembe Elephant Park offering an ideal base from which to explore Kosi Bay, Ndumo, Lake Sibaya and the Maputaland Coastal Forest Reserve section of Isimangaliso World Heritage Site
- has partnered with 2 Zulu communities in developing authentic cultural experiences
- is host to 18 annual field trips from 18 international schools, colleges and universities, accounting for approximately 1000 students per year
- is currently mentoring 18 community tourism trainees through its tourism facilities in Zululand
